Operative Procedures

Elbow Operative Procedures

Knee Arthroscopy_edited.png

Surgical reattachment of damaged tendons to restore elbow and shoulder stability and full lifting strength.

Surgery is recommended when conservative treatment fails or when a complete rupture is confirmed, with distal biceps repairs in particular producing excellent outcomes in active patients who require full restoration of forearm rotation and elbow flexion strength. These are often supplemented with Platelet rich plasma or other biologics.

Repairs damaged tendons to relieve chronic pain and restore strength for gripping and lifting tasks.

While most cases resolve with non-surgical management, surgery is considered when symptoms persist beyond 6 to 12 months, involving removal of the degenerative tendon tissue and reattachment to promote healthy healing and durable pain relief. These are often supplemented with Platelet rich plasma or other biologics.
